ATL BEAT BATTLE JAN.20 RECAP
As always I am amazed at the creative talent ATL Beat Battle brings out. ATL beat battle kicked of the first event of 2010 with Guest Judges Alley Boy Da Don of Duck Tape Entertainment and Fi-Chief of CHIEF HOUSE PRODUCTIONS. These two grounded artist have a promising future in the music industry. There were so many talented people in the building. This battle some producers plotted each move and selected each beat carefully to advance themselves to the next round. Wes Pipes came swinging out the gate and demanded your attention... "Best kept secret" requested you attention so you can hear his heat. It was so many history rounds tonight at ATL Beat battle. Major networking was taking place and deals were being made. If you were an onlooker at the twitter account ATL Beat battle was the buzz for the night.
We had a lot of returning champs... Shout out to Mr. Fish November winner and Zane September winner. They battle against each other and Zane advance to the next round. However, Ish blazed the stage with music produced by Mr. Fish. A new prize that has been added to monthly prizes!
ATL Beat Battle 2010 year goal "Year of The Placement" was not taking lightly, but rather to the heart. If you been to past battle you would have notice the elevated sounds producers displayed. I always say this is not your regular battle! These producers who grace the stage are serious about their craft, humble, talented, and hungry for a major industry placement. If your an industry exec looking for the next up and coming producer it would definitely behoove your efforts if you don’t stop through ATL Beat Battle throughout your search!
The ATL BEAT Battle winner goes to Miss Aquarious Minded production. Aquarious is a beautiful person and an even more talented producer. She came out swinging with her first beat and gain the judge’s recognition. Aquarious has been supporting ATL Beat Battle since 2007 at our first event. She definitely has a promising producing career and 2010 is definitely her year. She has recently started a blog! (shebeats.ning.com) for all the female producers. This month was tough month personally. I lost my child hood best friend Whitney Tamara Williams on Jan.2. I had to leave ATL for almost a week and didnt know if I would have the battle for January. I was hurt, confused, and in pain. With her strengths as my angel I was able to pull through. I dedicate Jan.2010 to one of my close and longest friends of 18 years. I love you and miss you. R.I.P Whitney Tamara Williams
